The mobile harbor crane arrived in 2022 to allow major rehabilitation of the two quay cranes. Since it’s arrival, the equipment underwent major commissioning process to improve its availability and reliability. The MHC has contributed to the efficiency and productivity of vessel operations.
On June 25, 2024, as MCT celebrates is 16th year anniversary, MCT also graced a launching ceremony for the Mobile Harbor Crane. This was attended by the representatives of the Shipping Line Industry, representatives from the Bureau of Customs, with special guest the CEO and Administrator of PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority, Atty. Joeseph Donato J. Bernedo.
