MCT has implemented the first phase of the Online Pre-Advise Booking last October 18, 2021.
The Online Pre-advise Booking is one of the Navis N4 features. The first phase of implementation applies to empty container receiving whether nominated for vessel loading or nominated for storage.
This new process will provide advance notification to the terminal on specific containers for gate-in and will improve the documentation of container gate-in transactions. In addition, having the online pre-advise booking will facilitate online accessibility for carriers.
In 2019, International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) and Navis formed a global partnership that allowed the N4 platform to be adapted more easily to the terminal operator’s global footprint.
The agreement features a “centralized pooled approach and global volume view”, which will support ICTSI’s growth strategies around the world.
The N4 system will helps ICTI improve overall site functionality and deploy a global business intelligence solution in all its terminals.
